Sorry to hear you weren't feeling well. Sinus infections are the worst. Your landscape sketches are as dreamy as always.

I've had this sinus infection for forever - Grady made me call in for an antibiotic last week so hoping to feel better soon

I love those dark mountains with the pinkish sunrise and the way you rearrange things in a picture. I tend to sketch in Dr waiting rooms. I always get caught! My hubs calls me a weirdo magnet. 😂 Thanks for sharing. Get well soon.

Great sketches! I like that you remind me that I have the freedom to put whatever I want to in a scene, even if, in reality, those things are in different places. I especially love how you do that with your coffee shop sketches. I try to impart this wisdom to my students. Being reminded that we have artistic license is a big deal!

So beautiful, Sandi! From the blue swatches to your family to the rearranged cafe. The sunrise spread is gorgeous! You are inspiring! (I think it's sweet that you attract people; I think it's a gift.) I hope you feel better very soon.

Yr self-critiques are a lesson in reflection for us onlookers who often shut down in frustration bit are restored to new fresh approaches as we share your palettes and rediscover the palatable.

Great sketches! If I were someone in that coffee shop I would be so honored to be a subject of an artist’s sketch.

I’m amazed you can find the space to keep doing something creative when you feel “out-of-it”. I just turn off completely. The garden piece is just lovely and I can’t wait to try the light acrylic markers to set things back in my landscapes. I especially am fascinated by your cafe scenes, and this one is precious. Thanks for sharing 👏👏👏.

I use to not be able to do it Barbara. I did a YouTube video about how I can do it now if you haven't seen it you might find it helpful

Always enjoy your videos! I love the coffee shop sketch and that you kept building it up with various things in the room. I need to try that with looking around my camper! What were you using in the coffee shop sketch besides the pastel pencils? Your sunrise paintings are beautiful. It was sad hearing that you spilled your paint. I sure hope you feel all better soon. Thank you for being such a blessing.
