If you haven't already done so you should consider licensing your pencil case design to one of the manufacturers and start your own line of studio products. Licensing is one of my income side streams.

I have a question, do you think your mom would be interested in the idea of selling a digital pdf of the pattern? I'd happily pay for it to try and sew my own, as a home project. Just an idea! Of course I would understand if she didn't want to share that intellectual property, but I thought of it, as its common in the quilting and home sewing space. Best wishes!
