Love the colour palette you broke it down to. 150 colours can be a bit overwhelming all together. I’m obsessed with Spanish Orange

Spanish Orange is my perennial favorite!

Wonderful way to go trough a flu!!! in relationship to the luminance ones are those harder or similar? Thank you dear Sandi

Expand full comment

hard to explain - I would say softer and smoother in some ways but just different

Thank you**

i'd say prismacolours are creamier and luminance are more chalky... in my opinion. both are ridiculously nice to work with.

Yay. I’m glad to see you on here again. I love colored pencils. I have the whole set of the Faber Castell polychroma pencils and I love them. My daughter has a smaller set of Prisma Colors I think she really like them too. Enjoy those. I hope you had a lovely holiday season.

Yay! I’ve missed you on Substack. It was my Sandi/inspiration fix in between YouTube videos. 😁. I’m actually on the couch all day with a migraine and was binge watching your old videos on YouTube when this notification popped up!😃. Glad you’re back!

Love this! I also purchased the Prisma Premier Colored Pencils set and I absolutely love them. A lot of your favorite colors are also mine. Especially the muted colors 🩶🩶

I feel like there should be an artists' exchange program. I typically use the same colors over and over, and don't necessarily want a whole set. If I were to get a whole set I would have extra colors that I would be willing to give away or exchange for other media from another artist. I wonder how we would set up something like this?

An Artists swap site.

Yes! Does something like this exist?

I don't know, but it would be a interesting biz opportunity if it doesn't.

Happy New Year! Always a joy to watch you in action Sandi. I just pulled out a set of 24 prismacolor pencils, dusted them off, and swatched along with you. I appreciate the inspiration.

I feel like Prismacolors have gotten a bad rap and have fell out of favor in the company of more expensive artist-grade pencils. I have a few of the “better” brands and honestly use the heck out of my Prismacolors; plus they don’t cost an arm, leg or other body parts to replace. The full set is just glorious (insert angels singing). :) Thanks for sharing the lovelies.
