This was really insightful. My favorite brushes are long handled #10 or #12 flat or bright. Always interesting to see what others like. I think Bonn brushes are in my future : )

I use all types of brushes. I mostly paint with watercolors and I like a round with a nice point. But I have a favorite water brush that I use all the time. I have no idea where I got it or what brand it is. The bristles are getting worn down to that perfect spot. But one day I’ll have to replace it.

Brushes are like students in a classroom. Each with their own personality and characteristics. As you get to know each one you find it's purpose and grow comfortable. Thank you Sandi for reminding me not to be offput by different types of brushes I'm not familiar with.

Hey Sandi, Before you start painting with your new big brush, put a piece of tape over the description so you can peel it back to reorder. Maybe masking tape would be best. I hope it works.
