Coffee Shop Sketches

This was the first time we’ve had an issue with people noticing us - like a LOT! To the point we really had a hard time sketching people. The group of older ladies that I show you in the first sketch actually came over and looked at a our sketches when they got up to leave. They were all able to pick themselves out though 😂 so I guess that’s good. But it was REALLY hard to stay in a good loose sketching frame of mind. Neither one of us particularly enjoyed the outing as far as the sketching. But we had good conversation and it still stretched us and was good for us. But we were also sitting on the worlds most uncomfortable bench - we weren’t sure if we’d be able to make it to our cars 🤣 - we were walking like we were 500 years old. In fact, we’re taking next week off because we both realize our bottoms need time to recover and heal from all the uncomfortable coffee shop seating. Who knew you could get real injuries from coffee shop sketching!!!!!! And, I’ve even been taking my own little cushions to sit on and am still hurting - ruff life, I know.
